What can we say about Cori? She is a long, deep, powerful doe that has a lovely udder and a tremendous will to milk. Cori is our first Champion, our first BOB Nubian, our first Nubian star milker, our first Best in Show, our first Excellent 90, and our first doe to be awarded the title of Miss Pennsylvania by the Pennsylvania Dairy Goat Association. She has also been awarded two Certificates of Excellence and a Supreme Achievement Award from the PDGA. She won 5 BOB and 5 BDIS awards in 2006. We were stunned when she won the aged doe class at the 2006 Nationals and was selected as National Champion with Reserve Best Udder. In 2008, at 11 years of age, Cori again made the trip to Nationals where she placed 2nd (with 2nd udder) in a VERY competitive aged doe class. Cori was also part of our 8th place Best 3 Senior Does and our 6th place Dairy Herd. She is a once in a life-time goat and proudly holds the title of herd queen. ***NEWS FLASH*** At almost 13 years old, Cori freshened with twin does in February of 2010. Both does, sired by Jacobs-Pride Arizona Excelence, will be retained. |

Added to the herd in 2005, Madelyn has one of the most beautiful udders I have seen on a Nubian. Definitely Nationals material! She placed 17th in a very competitive 5&6 year old class at the 2006 Nationals and was a member of our 3rd place dairy herd. Madelyn won her 1st BDIS award at the 2008 PDGA Big Weekend. At the 2008 Nationals, Madelyn placed 3rd (with 3rd udder) in a VERY competitive aged doe class and was part of our 6th place Dairy Herd. Madelyn is the drama queen of the herd and dislikes traveling, so her picture doesn't really do her justice. As a paternal ½ sister to Cori, we feel Madelyn is still in the early years of her show career!! Madelyn has just been waiting for her time to shine! At 9 years of age her udder is still high and wide with wonderful attachment! In 2009, Madelyn was 6 times BOB out of 9 times shown! |

A sweet annoyance, Reese has definitely earned her spot in our herd. At the 2006 Nationals, she placed 8th in the 3 year old class. She was also a member of our 3rd place dairy herd. She is a long, tall, correct doe with tremendous width. She has the widest, flattest rump in the herd. Her udder is high and wide in the rear, smoothly blended in the fore. We would like to see her teats placed more centrally on the udder floor. In 2007 she was several times BOB and won her first BDIS under Jean Lucas. At the 2008 Nationals, a slightly lame Reese still managed to place 4th in the 5 and 6 year old class! She was also part of our 9th place Dam & Daughter, our 8th place Best 3 Senior Does, and our 6th place Dairy Herd. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to settle Reese AI this year. She has been confirmed bred to Mozart for a March kidding. |

![]() Raisin - 2nd freshening 2 yr old Pictured May 2010 ![]() LA Session - May 2010 |
A beautiful doe kid, I picked Raisin out the day she was born! Her coloring is striking, her personality is amazing, and her conformation is gorgeous. At the 2008 Nationals, Raisin placed 21st in a large class of Intermediate kids while her littermate sister, Razzle Dazzle Me, placed 16th. Razzle was then consigned and sold at the 2008 Colorama Sale to Sue Smart of Fancy Color Nubians. Raisin has developed and matured well over the winter and we are excited for the 2011 show season! Raisin finished her Championship in 2011 making her a 5th generation permanent Champion!! Now to work on the milking star! Raisin made the trip to Springfield, Massachusetts for the 2011 National Show. We were extatic when she placed 4th in the very competitive 3yr old class. Her daughter, Raisin' a Ruckus, placed 4th in the senior kid class -- how's that for consistency? Ruckus now resides with the Riven Oak herd in Wisconsin. Ruckus then went on to win Best Junior Doe in Show at the Wisconsin State Fair, over 400 other doe kids!! Needless to say, we repeated the breeding from last year and we are delighted that Raisin is confirmed bred to Ransom once again. This time we will be retaining 1 doe kid. A 2nd kid (buck or doe) has been reserved. Show Record 2011 - 1x1st, 1x2nd, 1x3rd (3 times shown) |

We were so pleased when we confirmed Reese bred AI to Tiger Paws! Our only AI breeding to settle last year, we couldn't be more pleased with our cream colored doe kid! Ricotta is wide and strong, yet maintains great feminity and dairy character. She walks with great width between the hocks that is carried all the way up into her escutcheon. |

Cadence was a spoiled-rotten little brat! But who can blame me for spoiling a Cori daughter? She was completely unbearable to be around, let alone show. Even attempting to bite the appraiser at our session in May! Once we reined in her terrorizing ways, we have finally managed to get her into the occassional show ring. She is, by far, my favorite of the 2010 kids. |

Rian is our youngest rising star! She’s one of our first AI kids and we were anxious to see how Soncare Gabriel’s line crossed with ours. We were not disappointed! Rian shocked us when she freshened with quadruplets as a yearling! While it took her some time to bounce back into show condition, we were still pleased with her dairyness and mammary system. She easily finished her Championship in 2008 becoming a 5th generation permanent Champion!! Her full brother Ransom is producing some lovely kids for us as well!! At the 2008 Nationals, Rian was 14th in a lar ge 2yr old class. She was also part of our 9th place Dam & Daughter, our 8th place Best 3 Senior Does, and our 6th place Dairy Herd. |

A quadruplet, Rende is a smaller doe but very correct. I picked her out as a “keeper” at 1 week of age. She wasn’t the most eye-catching of the 4 kids, but something has always struck me about her. She’s high and wide in the escutcheon with good dairy character and body capacity. She earned her dry leg in 2008. In 2009, Rende kidded early with premature twins. She will need some time to develop the mammary capacity that she will need to be competitive in the show ring. While her milk production was disappointing last year, I am pleased with the overall shape of mammary and smoothly blended fore. |

Kip is just as lovely as her ½ sister, Reese. She showed well as a first freshening 2yr old, but did not place in her class at the 2006 Nationals. She was still a member of our 3rd place dairy herd. In 2007, Kip matured and easily earned her SGCH. Unfortunately, she developed a very serious and life-threatening case of mastitis in the fall of 2007. She freshened in the spring of 2008 with some significant scarring in her udder, particularly in the teat canal. We have spent the last year working hard to resolve the issue with her udder. She freshened with a lovely set of triplets in March. |

Dublin has caught our eye from an early age. We weren’t planning on keeping a doe from this breeding, but there was always something striking about Dubby. When we did take her to a few shows as a kid, she did extremely well - even topping her class a few times. In 2008, she was undefeated in the senior yearling class and won several BJDIS awards. | |

![]() Libby - 2nd freshening 2 yr old Fall 2010 ![]() LA Session - May 2010 |
Libby has been a standout since the day she was born. We love the style, width and elegance of this doe. She reminds us so much of her granddam, Reese. Libby was originally slated to leave the herd, but she made it to the keep list when her dam was sold instead. Libby easily earned her dry leg at the 2008 PDGA Big Weekend.
She has a very globular shaped udder with good extension of the fore. She is a tall, long dairy doe much like her dam, Mercury, and granddam, Reese. Libby has freshened even better than before! Her doe kid, sired by Arizona, has been sold to a show home. |

![]() Ripple Pictured in the Fall 2010 Ripple can be VERY uncooperative, especially with Josh, so this picture really doesn't do her justice. |
To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with Ripple in the early weeks following her birth. Once Rian had to be euthanized, I tried to find some positive points about the shy, short eared little doe kid she had left me. Well, once again, I have learned patience is a virtue. Ripple has grown into a beautiful doe kid and easily earned a spot in our herd. She has quietly turned from ugly duckly into a pretty doe with excellent depth/body, standing on correct feet/legs, with great width up into the escutcheon. While she doesn't have the best breed character about the ears, I have seen purebreds with less ear and more control. |
